Use Case - Invoke Workflow to Archive Tickets

 

 

In this scenario we have created a Custom Action to manually invoke an Archive Tickets workflow. This would be useful if you have a scheduled workflow process that moves old closed tickets into an archival list, that for some reason (such as unplanned system downtime or network issues) failed to run. Here your system administrator would want to trigger the archival process manually.

 

CONFIGURATION

 

The workflow that will be invoked by this Custom Action must have the 'user trigger' box checked.
