Once the Discussion Column is installed and activated in the Site, it will be available on any List as another column choice when using Create Column:

 

 

Once chosen, the configuration screen comes up. It is simple to configure. The "Column name", "Description", "Number of lines for editing", and "Specify the type of text to allow" are all standard Multiple Lines of Text options.

 

•The "Allow below user(s)/group(s) to delete any comment" checkbox will allow any user or group entered in the box below it to delete any entry.

•The "Allow users to delete their comment(s)" checkbox will allow any user to delete his or her entries only.

 

If both checkboxes are left unchecked, neither admins nor users will be able to delete entries.
